The Skill Nobody Taught You: How to Actually Manifest What You Want
By Jeffery Combs | Golden Mastermind Seminars Inc.
Let me start with a word most people think they understand but almost nobody has actually looked up.
Manifest. From the Latin manifestus, meaning clear.
Not wishful thinking. Not a vision board. Not positive vibes. Clarity. The ability to see, with absolute certainty, a future that hasn’t happened yet, and then pull it into your present reality.
That’s what manifestation actually is. And once you understand that, everything changes.
You’re Already Manifesting, Just Not What You Want
Here’s what I tell every client I work with: you are already a master manifestor. The problem is most people are manifesting their fears instead of their freedom.
I hear it every single day in my coaching calls. Someone will tell me, “This is so difficult. I’m always late. I can never get ahead.” And I listen closely, not just to what they mean, but to what they’re saying. Because words are law. When you speak something into existence, you are literally creating the reality you seek to avoid.
The chronic worrier manifests worry. The chronic complainer manifests problems. The person who tells themselves success is hard, manifests struggle. Over and over, the same situations, the same feelings, the same payoff.
That word, payoff, is a 12-step term and one of the most powerful concepts I teach at my Millionaire Blueprint events. The payoff is the unconscious reward you get for staying stuck. It might be sympathy. It might be an excuse to stay small. It might be the familiar comfort of disappointment, because at least disappointment is predictable.
When you understand your payoff, you can begin to let it go.
The Mechanism of Letting Go
Between your feelings and the facts of your life, there is a gap. Most people collapse that gap, they become their circumstances. A skilled manifestor learns to live in that space. That separation is where transformation happens.
I coached a client recently who told me he felt forced, his word, to change the way he builds his business. Forced. That single word told me everything. He had locked himself inside a scarcity consciousness so tight he couldn’t see a single door. The problem wasn’t his business. The problem was his belief system running on a loop.
David Hawkins writes about this in his book Power vs. Force. The Map of Consciousness lays it out clearly: at the bottom, grief and apathy vibrate around 25 to 50 cycles per second. Anger, frustration, resentment sit just below courage. And courage, that’s the breakthrough. The window to the soul.
Courage isn’t an emotion. It’s a quality you access. It’s available to you right now, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The courage to put down what’s been holding you down. The courage to change your story. The courage to let go.
What a Real Manifestor Looks Like
I want to tell you about someone who contacted me recently. A woman I hadn’t spoken to in years, someone I knew back in 1996 when we were both top income earners in direct sales. She had gone through 16 years of an extraordinarily difficult legal situation. Sixteen years.
When she called me, you would never have known. She didn’t give me the full story of everything she’d endured. She wasn’t playing the victim. She was clear. Her energy was extraordinary. She had come through the other side and she was ready to build again, and one of the first people she called was me.
That is manifestation. Not the absence of hardship, but the refusal to let hardship become your identity. She held a vision through 16 years of challenge and she is now manifesting her freedom. That’s what belief in alignment with action looks like.
The Practical Side of Manifestation
I am not a big-goals teacher. I’ve shared stages with some of the top speakers in the world, and I’ve heard the “shoot for the moon” talk plenty of times. That’s not what I teach.
I teach short-term goals you can actually create and build on. A 1-day plan. A 30-day plan. A 90-day plan. Stack those consistently and 12 months from now you could be a six-figure earner. Stack two years and you’re looking at seven figures, provided you show up with discipline, focus, and a daily method of operation that produces results.
The quantum leap, where two plus two starts equaling sixteen instead of four, that’s not luck. That’s the compounded result of repetition, preparation, and execution in alignment with your belief.
Your pineal gland, your vagus nerve, your gut, your body is a manifestation instrument. When you are present, relaxed, and clear, your body begins to magnetize what you’re focused on. When you’re oscillating in anxiety, fear, and doubt, you are vibrating at the bottom of the consciousness scale, and you will attract exactly that frequency back into your life.
The One Thing That Changes Everything
The breakthrough comes when the pain of staying the same finally outweighs the fear of change. That’s the moment. And when it comes, you have a choice: let the old story keep running, or step into the space between the feeling and the fact and choose something different.
Breathe. Release. Let go. Relax your body.
You are not your past. You are not your debt, your weight, your failures, or your circumstances. You are the vision you are willing to hold and the commitment you are willing to make.
Manifest that.
