The Daily Method of Operation (DMO)
Most people don’t fail because they lack talent. They fail because they lack a daily method of operation.
Good afternoon. This is Jeffery Combs, and today I want to bring you into a simple but powerful practice that has shaped my life, my business, and my results:
Breathe. Release. Let go.
This isn’t just a phrase, it’s a way of operating.
For over two years, I dealt with something as simple, and as frustrating as inconsistent internet service. And while that may sound trivial, it became a daily test of patience, control, and perspective. Recently, I found myself in the solution instead of the problem. A technician was in my office fixing the issue, and in that moment, I recognized something deeper:
Life shifts when you shift from resistance to resolution.
The Real Problem Most People Face
Most people don’t have a business problem.
They don’t have a time problem.
They don’t even have a money problem.
They have a method problem.
They don’t have a daily method of operation.
Instead, they live in cycles of:
Procrastination
Avoidance
Overwhelm
Self-criticism
They get ready to get ready.
And that cycle produces one predictable outcome: frustration and stagnation.
What You Do Daily Defines Your Life
Every day, you’re making a decision:
Do I produce, or do I avoid?
Do I act in discipline, or do I delay in doubt?
This is the duality of life and business.
You are either in it, or you are out of it.
There is no middle ground.
When you avoid, you activate shame.
When you procrastinate, you create overwhelm.
When you hesitate, you reinforce fear.
But when you commit to a structured daily method, your life begins to change.
The Brain State That Changes Everything
Most people live in stress-driven states; fear, anxiety, and doubt. This is survival mode.
But there’s another state available: gamma.
Gamma is a heightened state of awareness, presence, and flow.
When you are in this state:
You are not threatened
You are not reactive
You are focused, clear, and inspired
You are operating from solution, not survival.
And in that state, something remarkable happens:
Opportunities begin to find you.
People show up.
Conversations align.
Business flows.
Not by luck, but by alignment.
Stop Winging It
One of the biggest mistakes I see is this:
People try to “wing it” through life and business.
Amateurs wing it.
Professionals systemize it.
If you want predictable results, you need predictable behaviors.
I don’t guess my day, I design it.
I wake up at 4:00 AM.
By 4:22, I’m training.
By 5:00, I’m coaching.
While most people are easing into their morning, I’ve already created momentum.
This isn’t about working more.
This is about operating with intention.
Letting Go Is a Skill
Letting go isn’t weakness, it’s mastery.
Most people cling to:
Control
Old stories
Fear of outcomes
But those attachments are exactly what keep them stuck.
When you let go:
You release anxiety
You create space
You access clarity
And from that clarity, you act with confidence.
The Truth About Money and Opportunity
Money isn’t the problem.
Money is:
An exchange
An energy
A reflection of value
When you increase your skills, your discipline, and your emotional control, money follows.
Not because you chase it.
But because you become aligned with it.
The Invitation
If there’s one thing I want you to take from today, it’s this:
Stop living in reaction.
Stop living in delay.
Stop living in doubt.
Instead…
Breathe.
Release.
Let go.
Then build a daily method of operation that supports the life you say you want.
Because when your habits align with your vision…
Your reality has no choice but to follow.
